What would you like to become?
Yoga has become my life and has taught me a great many things about that and myself. It has helped me become more confident, flexible (physically and otherwise), and more compassionate with myself and others.
I'd love to journey, in yoga, with you through and beyond your comfort zone to a new version of yourself.
I teach classes at both locations of Kushala Yoga. Check out the schedule for Port Moody and Coquitlam class times. Group opportunities or private sessions also available.
Like the phoenix rising out of the flames, so too do I find a transformative power from each session I give or receive. Like the new growth after a forest fire, there is beauty within those "flames" called life, experience and even, sometimes especially, suffering. What might I find when I look through the ashes of my past, the fire within my emotions, mind and body and the light of my present moment?
If you are looking for more than "just exercise" , willing to explore your comfort zone and open to moving deeper into your self... this is a great vehicle for self-exploration through movement and dialogue.
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy incorporates the belief that the body and mind are not separate and our bodies are great guides as they hold all aspects of our self. A session is an invitation to explore your self through movement, assisted yoga postures and dialogue. Each session is a hands on, one-on-one experience, which includes meditation at the beginning and the end to help you connect to your inner wisdom. Dialogue is found through open-ended questions, so you can further explore your self physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Movement and postures are explored in order to listen to and honour the teacher found within each individual.
No Yoga experience necessary.
